Rooted

Problem: Food waste is at an all time high. Urban populations are more disconnected from nature than ever.

Insight: Many 18–35 year olds living in cities love plants and gardening, but limited space prevents them from growing their own food.

Solution: Rooted is an app-controlled mini garden that helps you regrow vegetable scraps into usable food, and teaches you how to cook with it. Simple, informative UI and approachable visuals demystify a new hobby, which can be intimidating to start.
